A 2 page paper discussing the probability of identity through DNA testing. Long used for paternity testing, forensic databases even now are being constructed listing genotypes of known and convicted offenders. Improvements in test procedures and sensitivity has resulted in probability of identity increasing from 1 in 5,000 to 1 in 82 billion in recent years, making DNA testing one of the most reliable methods of proving identity. DNA Testing In Forensic Science

Douglas And Olshaker, Journey Into Darkness

John Douglas and Mark Olshaker have collaborated on a number of books in the past, generally concerned with the art of psychological profiling of serial killers. Journey Into Darkness provides a great deal of information concerning a crimes and investigation and how the criminal mind works. This 6 page paper argues that knowing all of this information and being able to apply it into the ordinary life of an individual who is not associated with crimes, investigations or the psychology of a murderer is are two different and disparate things, however.
