Slavery / U.S. vs. Caribbean

An 8 page paper that explores the issue of whether slaves lived under 'better' conditions in either of these countries. The paper shows that the conditions of the slaves was similar during the years of slavery, and discusses the current debate on the socioeconomic impacts of slavery in the two areas (U.S./British colonies).
